that happened to me the last time i went there, the manager gave me a btich fit i told her to show me where it says it has to be over $10, and she couldnt so i told her to call corporate and she told me she can call other TR stores in the area and no manager in the other stores were avaliable, so i was getting upset, and for some reason i saw the bookmark for 12 and said fine i'll do that, plus its really cute, and just did that. she said she couldn't but im guessing she didn't know how to price match it even though i told her thats what she has to do. oh well. better luck next visit.
 
coupon specifically states if it's less then $10.00 you don't get any cash back! Nowhere does it state MUST BE $10.00 or higher! the lady told me it had to be $10.00 or more...i asked her to show it to me on here..she couldn't ..made the $9.99 item $10.00 and it went thru fine!

I'd tell them in advance that they have to price modify the item to $10 in order for the coupon to work. "How do you know that?" I read about it on Spoofee! They said a lot of the managers were idiots.
 
they gave my problems too but just stand your ground and tell them that theres no reason they cant take it and if they cant tell them to call the district manager.

this was the first time that happened to me, thats cuz i was at another mall, THE UPSCALE MALL, where all the rich go to, and NO one uses coupons, i even asked if they've seen this coupon she said no. i wonder how she got a job as a manager :confused: no customer service skills.
 
going there with my daughter tomorrow as well! I am going to see what all I can get for free or close to!
 
ok went to the mall last night! Got 2 history of football money clips and a key ring..only cost me $1.04 (I went slightly over)..and went to the other mall w/ a friend too..she used it for me...got 3 key chains for free! total spent on 6 items (reg $20.00 ea) was $1.04! More to sell at the yard sale! ;-)
 
Well, I had no luck on my 2nd try--different salesperson (which was what I wanted)--BUT she told me they had been told not to modify any prices, so order has to be $10 or more for the coupon to work. I told her to call the DM, and she did call somebody --came back and told me the same thing. So, I didn't get anything last night. Unfortunately, that's the only store in my area, so I may be done with this. It's not that I wouldn't go over $10, but there really wasn't anything on sale/clearance that I would spend money on.
 
daughter went to get a frame and used it no problem..was 10.99 and so she paid $.99 + .07 tax total of 1.06 was marked down from 29.99
 
I went today, sales person had trouble using coupon but she was determined to put it through. She kept saying that her computer was saying that the coupon had expired. I got a $30 bracelet, on sale for 19.99, minus the coupon for $9.99. It will make a wonder present for the birthday party my daughter is going to this weekend. Thanks!
 
ok I printed another coupon for my daughtertwo days ago! She made a few coupons and her and about 6 of her friends went together yesterday. they all got a $9.99 item and they were told they HAD to spend $10 or more. But that's not what the coupon said! She stood her ground as did her 5 friends! One of them actually was going to buy her mother a 25th anniversary clock for $150 and have it engraved. But when they wouldn't take the coupons she said she was going to leave the clock and forget the engraving! The saleslady called the DM and told them and the gal came back and took everyone's coupons! so 5 gals got free stuff and the 1 gal got $10 off her $150 clock! Plus for the inconvenience my daughter actually talked them into doing the engraving for free! My daughter said that they literally had to wait for over an hour while the salesgal and the DM were on the phone! They were going to charge her friend so much per word/letter but gave it to her for free! Very nice find again! Thanks again! Gotta love all this FREE STUFF!
 
their stuff is junk, some are cute but its not worth whatever price they put on there.
 
Is their jewelry even silver plated??? I can guess it's not sterling...didn't see it stamped or any note about any silver content. I am guessing as soon as these bracelets get damp or left near a bathroom, it won't be long til they're not too pretty anymore. They sure do have some pretty ones though.

I saw some sterling in a separate case, but it was clearly marked as such. If it's not marked, I'm sure it isn't sterling.
 
much of their stuff is silver plate which will look like crap in no time, especially because it is thinly plated. I did get a clock (not silver plate) and had it engraved as a hostess gift for someone I'm visiting in france. They didn't give me any trouble and the clock was engraved in french within a 1/2 hour. I wanted to spend about $50 so with the coupon it was $40 +. TY again!!

I called them last week for clarification on whether you had to spend $10 or could spend less than $10, and they told me they weren't honoring the printed coupons anymore. They said they were doing a mailing of a coupon to those people who did the survey and that coupon would be honored. I'm sure it's still YMMV, but that's the word from the company.
