I know this movie. I saw it maybe...20 years ago..(at a drive-in?)....I can picture the 'dummy' that used to sit on the guy's knee (he was real nasty and sarcastic)...he was evil....a lot of the movie was shot 'backstage' or in his 'dressing room'......I want to say the title had the word 'magic' in it.....

I believe the 'dummy' resembled Charlie McCarthy....the owner used to throw him in his 'box' a lot when he was naughty....I think he used to tell his owner to murder women....
