Allure Virtual Store Sampling Monday August 10th @ 10 E.T.

I think this is good to start a new thread for this--it's truly wiping the slate clean and a new beginning. Let's hope it works correctly and we all get tons of things! Also, shouldn't we all go to that link and make sure we can log in? That would be nice if it worked.

Thanks for the help- hopefully, I will actually wake up and be semi-alert. One of the few drawbacks to sleeping late, I guess!

I'm going to try and be up for this. But tomorrow is a late work day for me so I have the chance to sleep in. We'll see how tired I am when the alarm goes off. lol
 
I certainly hope tomorrow will go smoothly because after what happened last time I gave up on the Allure Virtual Store sampling promo.
 
I don't care how sad it sounds but I have spent the night preparing for tomorrow. I have set two alarms, made sure all my browsers were cleared and update and I even found RF for Chrome. I hope this goes well for all tomorrow or my head might just explode.

Coincidentally, I've been getting "kicked off" all night (cable problems), but DH just ran a brand new cable and connected the computer modem to a different outlet just for tomorrow--he couldn't stand the screaming and yelling about the Virtual Store thing! I sure hope my modem cooperates. We think the problem is a piece of cable buried somewhere in the walls which goes to the office. Now I have a cable in my hallway (from another room), but, hey, it's Allure! There's almost nothing I wouldn't do for free stuff! And I stopped crying.

I just checked the link--and it looks like they have taken ALL the samples away. Maybe they will just have the new ones on the site when it opens--wouldn't that be nice? (that's IF it opens, etc.). But there's just nothing there now.

That makes me feel better = I thought my computer was going wonky! (Well, more wonky that it usually is...)

6:35 a.m. on the Left Coast, and the page/site is still blank.
 
you guys think it's going to be enough to refresh the screen, or do you think we'll need to log in right at 10 am? and why am i asking this crazy question?? :rofl:
 
Good morning. I managed to get up without throwing the alarm across the room. Coffee is ready and I'm all set for todays Allure adventure. :)

:rofl: You feel the same way I do about alarm clocks then! In college, I got the bright idea of putting the clock on a shelf above my bed, so I would have to stand up to turn it off (I was notorious for turning my alarm off and going back to sleep). Ever had a clock fall squarely on your head?? Ever since then...the clock is my enemy. Coffee sounds yummy. Caffeinated, I presume?
